Foundation strikes up new partnership with Blackburn Rovers

JRF to combine with BRFC community education department on future programmes

The Foundation have struck up a new partnership with Blackburn Rovers community trust and have concluded the first stages of forging a great link with the highly impressive education department.

Duncan Kinloch head of strategy and planning and programme tutor Joanne Watson met with foundation ceo Otis Roberts and staff member Peter Ibrahim to demonstrate some of the activities used in the current sylabus.

Otis Roberts said "we are really looking forward to setting up a programme in London working with BRFC community education departmentt, their ideas and methods of teaching are superb and it will be a real joy to effect young people in London as well as in the Caribbean."

BRFC community education dept have also funded one of their programme tutors, Joanne Watson to fly to Grenada to initiate a week of education workshops with the young people in Grenada.  To implement similar strategys used across various football clubs in the U.K.
