In June 2007, the Jason Roberts Foundation launched the Grenadian arm of the Foundation at St Georges University, Grenada. The launch was attended by the Minister for Sports, and St George’s University's Assistant Dean. Over 80 key influential people from the world of Government, Business attended the event.

Jason Roberts opened the event with a welcome to all those present providing an overview of key strategic objectives of the Foundation in Grenada which include providing high quality football coaching for children and young people, opportunities for the island’s coaches to gain football qualifications and the Foundation’s longer term aim to develop a sport’s Academy on the island that will deliver integrated sports education programmes.
