The Balls 4 Grenada will have 2 main ambitions
- To accumulate 3,000 footballs and associated equipment (pumps and ball bags ) to be distributed across the island to the identified target groups.
- To distribute the balls donated across Grenada for the benefit of children and young people so as to enhance opportunities to play
There will be a number of different methods by which balls for the campaign will be assembled for the campaign
- Individual and organisations in both the UK and Grenada can purchase balls online
- UK based clubs and organisations can donate balls to be collected and shipped by the Foundation to Grenada
- Grenadian based organisations can donate balls through the Caribbean Development Manager based in Grenada
Balls will distributed to
- The islands public and private schools
- All freely provided football clubs can apply for balls
- A number of competitions will run over the duration of the campaign to give away balls directly to young people
- The Foundations Caribbean Development can nominate individuals of groups to receive balls
How's the campaign going
- All individuals & organisations that donate balls will be acknowledged on the Foundations website
- The JRF website will run a count down on the number of balls donated and distributed
- The Foundation will run a number of high profile campaigns around the donation & distribution of balls
