Andy Cole Visits Grenada

Currently there are no floodit facilities in Grenada and this initiative will see the Foundation deliver coaching sessions during the evenings across the parishes where this was previously not possible.

The initiative is being backed by the Grenadian Government and the Minister of Sport Patrick Simmons. Caribbean Development Manager Gary Mulcahey said "It's a fantastic opportunity for some of the youngsters and adults to play sport after dark and the event at Mourme Rouge was well attended and a great success. The plan in the very near future is to deliver sessions up and down the country and to encourage other organisations to join forces with the Jason Foundation to provide more floodlit facilities." The Jason Roberts Foundation plans to start a similar programme in England.

Chief Executive Otis Roberts added "We're delighted to bring a player of Andrew Cole's stature to the island to promote this iniative, and I would like to personally thank him for attending, and also a big thanks to Paul Stevens at Euro Select and AJ Bell for donating to this cause."
