The Jason Roberts Foundation first charity fundraising Gala dinner was held at the Lowry Hotel Manchester on Tuesday 4th December 2008.

The Foundation’s first Gala dinner provided a night of entertainment and fun and attracted personalities form the world of football and business. VIP’s included key premier league and championship players along with Foundation sponsors.

Hosted by Kris Kamara players supporting Jason on the night included his fellow team mates Morton Gamst Pederson, Robbie Savage, Jason Brown, Brad Frediel, David Bentley , Steven Reid from further afield Jason was joined by Emile Heskey, Jason Jarrett England Women's team Rachel Yankey and a number of ex players that included his uncles the legendary Cyrille Regis and Dave Regis.

The Foundation were particularly pleased to have there main sponsor Matt Ames Director of Harlequin Property and the Grenadian High Commissioner Mr Joseph Charter.

Other key sponsors St Georges University Grenada, Blackburn Rovers FC and the Royal Bank of Scotland, who sponsored the Champagne cocktail drinks were all in attendance. Kleinwort Benson, Penhaligon’s, Taut UK, Clarkes Court Distilleries, Grenada, Huggins, Grenada, IKAN Restaurant, Manchester and The Lowry Hotel, Manchester sponsors of auction prizes and the goody bags added to the representation from the world of business.
