The Jason Roberts Foundation delivered a programme of football coaching in Harlesden, North West London for the Brent Positive Activities for Young People programme. The Positive Activities for Young People programme (PAYP) is a targeted programme, which has provided diversionary activities since April 2003.

The Foundation delivered a skills coaching programme for a 2-week period in the summer of 2007 targeting 50 young people between 9 – 12 years daily.

The young people who participated in the programme were invited to take part in a Question and Answer session with Jason, which explored Jason’s career and the importance of healthy lifestyles.
In October 2007 the Foundation delivered the first level of FA football qualifications.

The Foundation offered the qualification free of charge for young people aged 16 – 19 years in North West London. In addition 2 of the Foundation’s Grenadian coaches attended and successfully passed the qualification.

99% of the participants in this first course successfully gained their FA Level 1 qualification. This certificate qualifies each participant to coach grass roots club teams for children and young people under the supervision of a qualified football coach.
